i feel so weird being so upset because i dont know this guy hes just the president of some company who i give my money to
iwata just always seemed so friendly and gentle and between him and reggie and miyamoto they all felt so silly and personal yet kind of larger than life.
i feel so ridiculous being so emotional about this but man this guys made games that have changed my life more than that and hes made me laugh and smile and have fun.
It shocks me so much and fills me with much sadness, because he, along with Miyamoto, Reggie, and others, have established this emotional, almost personal, bond with the Nintendo fans and general public overall.
His work has been of the highest influence to the gaming world and I’m 100% sure his legacy will last years and years. It has come as a great shock to a lot of us. But thankfully you’ve given us many many great moments to remember you by.
R.I.P Mr. Iwata.
